Discover Boro Memories

To date, the Boro Memories project has attracted contributions from former players, ex-managers, dozens of supporters and even some celebrities! Below is a selection of some of the memories shared:

My first game at Ayresome Park was against Swindon Town in 1994. I didn’t have to wait long to see the Holgate erupt, Neil Cox bundled one in after two minutes and we went on to win 3-1 – after Jan Aage Fjortoft had equalised for Swindon!

I’d say I was hooked after that game. I only have a few memories of Ayresome Park, but I’m very glad I got to experience it before we moved to the Riverside. - Author Tom Flight.
