Considered one of the greatest players in Middlesbrough’s history and a member of the National Football Hall of Fame, this unique original artwork was created by celebrated artist Richard Piers Rayner, renowned for his work on Road to Perdition and as illustrator for DC Comics and Marvel.

This original work was created during Richard’s time as Artist-in-Residence at Middlesbrough Football Club spanning two different decades, during which time his work appeared regularly in the matchday programme and featured in his book ‘Middlesbrough FC: The Unseen History’.
